Cape Town is known for its passive and openly friendly people.
Meet them via Donny; our experienced and totally passionate local cape coloured guide.
Donny will start your tour in the very historical residential area of the Bo-Kaap; introducing you to the origin and life of the black african and cape coloured people of South Africa.
We then move onto District Six; the once vibrant community which was destroyed by the apartheid government’s racial segregation laws.
We proceed to the vast and populated residential areas of the Cape Flats. In Langa, the oldest black african township in South Africa, We visit the Guga Sithebe cultural centre. You will absorb the true and real local lifestyle and entrepreneurship of the townships. Our journey takes us through the informal housing communities of Crossroads, Gugulethu and Athlone where you will experience a rare walk in a cape coloured community. Friendly locals and the ever-happy children are always up to meet or even just share a hug.
